Every review on inareview earns its verdict. Here is exactly how we evaluate a product before we recommend it — or warn you off it.

1. We Source the Product

We buy or independently source what we test wherever possible, so our assessment is not shaped by a brand-supplied sample.

2. We Test It in the Real World

We use the product over a meaningful period and document how it performs in everyday conditions — the good and the bad.

3. We Analyse the Evidence

We break down each ingredient or feature and compare the brand’s claims against published research, flagging where the evidence is strong, weak, or missing.

4. We Compare the Alternatives

No product exists in a vacuum. We weigh each one against the best alternatives on price, quality, and value.

5. We Score It — The inareview Score

Only then do we assign our score out of 10, along with a clear verdict on who the product is — and is not — right for.

6. We Keep It Current

We revisit reviews as products change, prices shift, or new evidence appears.
