Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 2026
inareview is reader-supported. This page explains, clearly and honestly, how I make money and how I keep my reviews independent.
Current position, September 2026. This site is a member of the Amazon Associates programme. Twelve articles currently carry an Amazon link: my Qunol, Solaray, Pure Encapsulations, Doctor’s Best, Thorne and NOW Foods magnesium reviews, my Dr. Berg review, the three example products named in my protein powder buyer’s guide, my protein powder cost ranking, my magnesium glycinate brand comparison, my guide to magnesium glycinate for sleep, and my guide to glycine for sleep. Every other article on the site carries none. Where an article recommends buying somewhere other than Amazon, as my LEANFIT and Revolution Nutrition reviews do, no Amazon link is added. The same rule applies to other affiliate programmes: my Yu Sleep review scores the product 5.5 out of 10 and carries no paid link at all, even though the company runs an affiliate programme I could have joined. The verdict is written first; the link question comes after, and only if it does not contradict the verdict.
A note on prices and on where these links take you. Every price in my articles is a United States price, in US dollars, checked on the date the article says. Those Amazon links point to the US store — but if you are reading from the United Kingdom, Canada or elsewhere in Europe, Amazon will redirect you automatically to your own local store. The currency will differ, the price will differ, and occasionally the exact product will not be listed there at all, in which case Amazon shows you the nearest alternative rather than the one I reviewed. So check the label and the price on the listing you actually land on, not the one I quoted.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This never changes a score, a ranking or a verdict — those are decided before any commercial link is considered.
I Use Affiliate Links
Some links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a commission from the retailer. This comes at no extra cost to you — you never pay more because you used my link.
It Never Affects My Verdict
Commissions do not influence my opinions, ratings, or which products I recommend. If a product is not worth buying, I say so — even when I could earn a commission on it. No brand can pay me for a positive review or a higher score.
Why I Do It
Affiliate commissions let me fund independent testing and research, and keep my content free to read. How I reach a verdict is set out in my methodology.
FTC Disclosure
In accordance with U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines and similar rules in the UK and Canada, I disclose that I have a financial relationship with some of the companies whose products I mention.
